Privacy
Hallan Labs Ltd is the data controller for SchoolHolidays.deals. If you want anything on this page done to your data, email hello@schoolholidays.deals and we’ll do it.
What we hold
If you save a price alert, we store your email address, which schools you chose, which holiday you’re watching, which airports you fly from, how many adults and children are travelling, and the destinations we’re tracking for you. That is the whole list.
If you only use the finder and never save an alert, we store nothing that identifies you. Searching does record the fares we looked up, but a fare is a fact about an airline, not about you.
Why we hold it
To send you the price emails you asked for. That is the only reason, and it is the only thing we send. There is no newsletter, no offers from partners, and no second list you were quietly added to.
The lawful basis is your consent, given when you click the link in the confirmation email. Nothing is sent to an address that hasn’t clicked it.
Who else sees it
Three companies, each doing one job and none of them given your data to use for their own purposes:
- Vercel hosts the site and records anonymous page analytics. No cookies, and no attempt to identify you across sites.
- Supabase stores the alerts and the fare history, on servers in the UK or EU.
- Resend delivers the emails, and records whether one was delivered.
We don’t sell your data, we don’t share it with advertisers, and we don’t pass it to the airlines or booking sites whose prices we show. Clicking through to a fare takes you to a third-party site, whose own privacy policy applies from that point.
Cookies
We don’t set any. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.
How long we keep it
Your alert lasts until you stop it. Every email has a one-click link to do that, no login and no confirmation step, and clicking it deletes the alert rather than marking it inactive. Fare history is kept indefinitely and is not linked to you.
Your rights
Every email has a link to your own settings, where you can see what we hold, change who is going and which airports we watch, or stop the alerts. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email hello@schoolholidays.deals and we’ll answer within a month, usually the same week.
If you think we’ve got this wrong, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We’d rather you told us first.
Children
This site is for parents. We don’t knowingly collect anything from a child, and the only thing we hold about yours is which school they attend - which you told us, and which we use to work out the dates.
